NO.1/NO.4/BA/HL/2D/2B/8k/ FINISH STAINLESS STEEL COIL 

NO.1 Silver white,lustless A rough, non-glossy surface obtained by hot rolling to a specified thickness, then annealing and descaling.

NO.4 Intermediate grinding A polished surface obtained by grinding NO.2D and NO.2B material with 150-180# main abrasive belts.

BA Bright as a mirror No standard, but usually a bright annealed surface finish with high surface reflectivity.

HL is one of the surface finish grades of stainless steel. HL is a brushed, straight brushed matt finish on stainless steel.

2D Silver White A non-glossy surface finish following cold rolling, heat treatment and pickling, sometimes with a final light roll in the roughing roll. 2D products are used for applications with less demanding surface requirements, for general use and for deep drawing.

2B The lustre is stronger than NO.2D After the NO.2B treatment, it is subjected to a final light cold roll on a polishing roll to obtain the right lustre. This is the most common surface finish and can also be used as a first step in polishing.

8K Mirror polishing Mirrors are polished with a polishing wheel Reflective mirrors, for decorative purposes.
